Production belge. "FORMAT is a new label run by Lowlands Distribution. First signing is the long awaited solo album by DJ 4T4, the man behind a.o. Magik Ballet Ensemble, ULTRASONIC 7 and in Belgium especially known as the DJ with 't Hof Van Commerce (with FILIP KOWLIER & SERGE BUYSE). This record still includes some of the original Ultrasonic 7 cast and ideas, but also incorporates many well-known as well as more obscure guests. It sticks closer to his own musical experience and has a more untangled and sharper edge to it, compared to what Ultrasonic 7 had to offer. Back to basics... SPECIAL GUEST VOCAL CONTRIBUTIONS feature TOM DERIE (voice of Ultrasonic 7 & formerly Soapstone) on three tracks and the other former U7 member, Zap Mama's NIA SAW, who already voiced on the 12" versions of "Last Nite" (FORMAT 002V) and is further present on "Pressure". MAURO PAWLOWSKI (Evil Superstars, The Grooms, Somnabula, The Love Substitutes & a dozen other projects) sets "One Foot In Life"; GABRIEL RIOS "Wakes Up The Dead" while ARNO is just being "Large" here...
