Carl Stone was born in Los Angeles and now he lives in San Francisco, he has composed electro-acoustic music exclusively since 1972. His works have been performed in the US, Canada, Europe, Asia, Australia, South America and the Near East. "Thematically, "Exusiai" is a dance about the special kind of life-force that exists in the inorganic matter of the mineral. For the dancer and choreographer Akira Kasai.
