Ce triple cd rassemble des musiques traditionnelles de la route de la soie chinoise. Le premier est consacré aux principaux instruments à cordes chinois en solo. Le second présente des instruments chinois, kirghizes et ouïgours ainsi que des chansons populaires; le troisième des instruments à cordes kirghizes, ouïgours, mongols et coréens, l'orgue à bouche des Miao et l'opéra tibétain.
