Enregistrements de terrain de Nicole Beaudry, Claude Charron et Denise Harvey au Cap Dorset (terre de Baffin), à Payne Bay (baie d'Ungava) et aux îles Belcher en 1974-76. Ce disque présente divers types de chants traditionnels des Inuits : du katajjait (jeux vocaux et imitation d'animaux) et d'autres types de chants (illukitaaruti accompagnant les jeux de jonglage, chants de jeux d'enfants, chant de chamane, chants pisiit, récit chanté. Seules deux plages sont accompagnées d'instruments (violon et guimbarde). Livret en français et anglais. (ASDS)
