Ce coffret de quatre disques intitulé "Higher !" retrace la carrière du célèbre groupe américain de musique Funk, Soul et Rock, Sly & The Family Stone. Une formation qui influencera de nombreux artistes pop Rock et qui par sa composition ethnique diverse se présentait comme multiraciale. On retrouve dans cette anthologie septante sept titres festifs connus et moins célèbres enregistrés entre le début des années soixante et la fin des années septante. On trouve également dix-sept inédits comme les morceaux "What's That Got To Do With Me ", " I Remember " ou " You're The One ". Cette compilation contient aussi un livret bien illustré avec une biographie et une chronologie détaillée. (CL)
