Deux ans après la première parution du coffret « Retrospective » retraçant l'oeuvre de jeunesse de Max Richter, Deutsche Grammophon le réédite. Fort de sa notoriété, le compositeur allemand figure aujourd'hui parmi les artistes les plus influents du label. Le packaging change mais le contenu reste identique : 4 CDs enrichis d'un livret comprenant une note du journaliste britannique Paul Morley ainsi qu'une biographie de Richter et une sélection de photographies. Sur ces quatre albums, Richter ose des oeuvres en équilibre instable entre le classicisme et l'ambient. (clubdeutschegrammophon.com)
