Quand il s'agit de compiler les treize premières années de sa carrière, le songwriter américain Rufus Wainwright ne fait pas les choses à moitié. Cette anthologie se présente sous la forme d'un coffret de velours rouge et comprend les six albums studio de Wainwright, deux albums en concert incluant le fameux "Rufus Does Judy at Carnegie Hall", quatre disques additionnels offrant du matériel rare et inédit et rien de moins que six DVD. De plus, on retrouve dans "House of Rufus" un livre de 88 pages couvrant la carrière de l'artiste, une reproduction d'une bande dessinée à la main et plusieurs affiches de ses premières tournées.
