Boogie Chillen se présente comme un coffret de trois disques. Cette compilation reprend septante cinq titres de la scène Mod enregistrés entre 1952 et 1962. On retrouve des morceaux populaires qui faisaient danser la jeunesse anglaise dans les clubs de Grande-Bretagne au début des sixties. Un voyage au coeur de la musique Blues, R&B;, Soul, Funk, Pop, Rock, Rock & roll et Jazz. On retrouve de nombreux artistes américains connus qui débutaient comme Bo Diddley, Muddy Waters, Richie Barret, Slim Harpo, James Brown ou Johnny Otis. (CL)
