Magnifique coffret Bear Family de 6 cd et un dvd, avec gros livre en anglais l'accompagnant. Le calypso était partout en 1956-57: sur les pistes de danse et à la tv, au cinéma et dans les magazines. Le coffret retrace l'histoire du style en suivant différents thèmes: "Calypso comes to America", "Harry Belafonte: the reluctant calypso king", "Calypso is everywhere", "Calypso goes to the movies, Broadway, television and more", "Calypso 'across the pond'", "Calypso goes global".
